Time Series Trio
Three metrics, each on its own row: a scorecard for the latest 7/28/90 days or months against the period before, next to a chart of all the data over time.

When to use it
Use it when a few metrics each deserve their own row: a scorecard for the latest 7, 28 or 90 days next to the full history.
Questions it answers
- How did the last 28 days compare with the 28 before?
- What's the daily average and peak day?
- Is the trend weekly-seasonal or steady?
How to use it
- On your dashboard page, add a grid with the columns below (or map your own header names – see below). Keep it on the same page – tuck it behind the chart rather than hiding it, and make it tall.
- Add an HTML container (one that runs JavaScript) and paste the snippet.
- View the page. The chart finds the grid, reads every row and draws itself; it updates when filters change the grid.
| Default header | Key | What it's for | |
|---|---|---|---|
Date | date | Required | A daily date (2026-10-23, 23/10/2026, 23 Oct 2026) or a month key (202610). Several rows on a date are added together. |
Metric 1 | v1 | Required | Any metric – $, % or a count, read from the grid's formatting. |
Metric 2 | v2 | Optional | Second row. |
Metric 3 | v3 | Optional | Third row. |

The integrity value pins this exact version: the browser refuses to run the script if a single byte changes. New versions get a new file name and a new snippet, so a dashboard only changes when you paste the new snippet.
Your own column names
The chart looks for the default headers above. If your grid's headers are different, map them by key with data-columns on the placeholder – the chart then shows your names too. data-labels (same keys) changes just the on-screen names, and data-title changes the heading. For grids that draw rows in batches, data-grid-class and data-scroll-class name the grid's container and its scroll box so every row is read.

</script>What it does
- Scorecard per metric: latest range total, change vs the same-length range before, average and peak
- Range buttons: 7, 28, 90 days or 12 months for daily data; 1, 3, 6 or 12 months for monthly data
- Chart grouping: daily, weekly or monthly (monthly or quarterly for monthly data)
- The latest range is shaded on each chart, the range it's compared with faintly
- Percentages are averaged and compared in points; $ and counts are totalled
- Mark metrics where lower is better with
data-lower-better='["v2"]'
Data & security
- Reads only what is drawn on the page for the viewer, so the viewer's normal permissions still apply
- Calculations happen in the viewer's browser; nothing is uploaded or sent anywhere
- The only downloads are this script and Chart.js, both integrity-checked
- No logins, API keys, cookies or browser storage
